The name GR8 People sums up everything our software helps our customers in talent acquisition find—GR8 People. But, it also describes our employees. Our company culture is fueled by the pure GR8ness of our employees and the enthusiasm they bring to work each day. We pride ourselves on having a workplace that’s fun, inclusive, challenging, innovative, collaborative, motivating, rewarding, and well… GR8!
When you fill a building with nerds, engineers, gymnasts, aspiring guitarists, wedding singers, architects, comic-book lovers, athletes, photographers, problem solvers, soccer loyalists, chefs, heavy metal drummers and everything in between, you are bound to create and grow something GR8. Our Employee Spotlight Series will give you an inside look on our company culture and the individuals that make GR8 People so GR8!
Today, our Employee Spotlight Series showcases our data analyst, Greg Pietrantonio.
What’s your role at GR8 People?
I was hired just over two years ago as a data analyst. I spend the majority of my time cleaning, managing and integrating data for new customers.
What’s your favorite thing about working at GR8 People?
I love the people I work with, the product we have developed and watching it evolve. We’re innovative, cutting-edge and GR8 (lol)! Working on the implementation team has been a blast. I really enjoy being able to work with our customers and developing relationships with them. It’s awesome getting to become true teammates with them during the course of our project, and the satisfaction that comes with seeing them succeed by using our product. I’m really excited for the future of GR8 People, too. Every product release, I look forward to seeing the benefits to customers. I can only imagine where we’ll be a year from now.
What is something about you that would surprise people?
I graduated from clown school and earned my clown certification. I have even performed at parties! No one ever believes me when I tell them that. But, on a more serious note, I would like to learn how to code, which is something that might also surprise people about me.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to play The Sims, watch YouTube and travel. My favorite place to be is on a lounge chair on the deck at my parents’ beach house with no cell phone in sight. One of the best places I’ve ever visited is San Francisco—the landmarks, weather and memories all added up to the greatest trip of my life. I look forward to traveling to more new places some day.
